Construction Update

Check out the construction update from the Port Townsend School District. The gym and cafeteria are starting to take shape- you can just about  hear the squeak of tennis shoes and smell the pasta being served up in the cafeteria. Take a peek here.

The Blue Heron PTA Emergency Kit is designed to provide 1 person with essential emergency preparedness supplies for 3 days. Supplies in this kit are contained in waterproof zip-slide bag and stores easily at home, at the office, at school, or in a car. Each Emergency Pack has a 5 year shelf-life.

Head to Grant Street Elementary to for math night. What a great way to discover ways to reach your student and play at the same time. Math will be the theme as we explore, play games and activities while introducing math curriculum. Food provided from 5-530PM activities to follow. February 8.  5-630PM. The Benji Project is a local non profit organization missioned to "Help teens navigate emotional ups and downs with greater ease"

Adolescence is a time of growth and self-discovery. But it is also often fraught with confusion, anxiety or depression. Mindfulness and self compassion can help teens cope more effective.   The Benji Project provides programs focused on students ages 11-to 19 and their parents. The workshop "Making Friends with Yourself" shares specific tools to build greater resilience.

Join honorary host Holley Carlson of PTEF or a special evening of theater in support of The Benji Project. 

Enjoy Key City Public Theatre’s production of “The Book Club Play” and a festive champagne and dessert reception at intermission.
